Khayree D. Shaheed. American (Bay Area) R&B/hip-hop musician/multi-instrumentalist (bassist, guitarist, pianist/keyboardist), songwriter, producer, and filmmaker from Vallejo, CA, born in 1960.

Has worked with artists such as Mac Dre, Mac Mall, 2Pac, and Young Lay. He produced most of Young Lay's album "Black 'N Dangerous," with the track "Got 2 Survive" being one of the most prominent. Co-wrote with En Vogue on the song "Lies," Tupac Shakur on Young Lay's "Got 2 Survive," and also co-wrote and produced "All About My Fetti" on the Spike Lee film soundtrack "New Jersey Drive." Produced and played all of Mac Dre's early hits from 1989-1997, such as "Too Hard For Da Fuckin Radio" & "California Livin'."

He has made music for many films, including the award-winning documentary "Go Tigers," Marlon Riggs' "Tongues Un-tied," "Live Nude Girls Unite," and "Penitentiary 3." Khayree has also co-written an autobiography in the format of oral history and film documentaries.
